Knocking at the Door: Approaching the Other
We would like to thank everyone who submitted work to Knocking at the Door: Approaching the Other.
We received hundreds of submissions from almost all 50 of the United States; Canada; Britain; Wales; Spain; Norway; Germany; Serbia; Prague; and Botswana.
We chose 50 poems from 50 poets-- a very hard task with such great work from which to choose.
Look for Knocking at the Door: Approaching the Other in October 2010, and stayed tuned to Buddhapuss Ink's website and facebook fan page for information about launch parties and reading dates in towns near you!

Payment for publication: 2 copies of the completed anthology in which your work appears. In addition, pieces selected for publication may be featured on our website on a rotating basis.
Editors
Lea C. Deschenes resides in Worcester, MA and holds an MFA in Poetry from New England College. Her poetry has appeared online, on stage and in print (Spillway, Snakeskin, So Luminous the Wildflowers, Ballard Street Poetry Journal, et al.)
A former member of four National Poetry Slam teams and a coach to two more, she also dusts off her BA in Theater to perform. She has received a Jacob Knight Award, been nominated for two Pushcart Prizes and represented Worcester in the 2005 Individual World Poetry Slam.
Her first full-length collection The Constant Velocity of Trains is available through Write Bloody Publishing.
Lisa Sisler resides in North Plainfield, NJ and holds an MFA in Poetry from New England College. She teaches Writing and Literature at Kean University and at various other colleges and high schools in New Jersey.
Her first full-length collection Belly Up is forthcoming.
